FAQ

Common questions about Warren, exchange custody, supported markets, authentication, paper trading, and risk controls.

Does Warren take custody of my funds?

No. Your funds always remain on your connected exchange. Warren only receives execution authorization through exchange APIs. API access is used only for execution. Permissions can be revoked anytime.

Which exchanges are supported?

Warren currently supports Binance, Bybit, OKX, Kraken, and Hyperliquid. Additional exchanges and trading pairs are being added.

How do I authenticate?

Warren supports two authentication paths: wallet authentication and email authentication with OTP verification. Both land you in the same personalized onboarding flow.

What trading modes are available?

Warren currently supports three trading modes:

  • Paper Trading. Simulated capital, live market data, runtime monitoring. No real funds at risk.
  • Live Trading. Real capital, connected exchange, allocation boundaries you set.
  • Demo Environment. Explore the platform and browse strategies without connecting an exchange.

How does Warren choose strategies for me?

Warren uses your onboarding inputs (trading experience, risk profile, trading style, preferred market type) to surface personalized strategy recommendations. Each recommendation includes strategy category, market type, timeframe, success metrics, regime match confidence, and historical win rate.

What risk profiles can I set?

Three risk profiles: Conservative, Balanced, and Aggressive. Each profile adjusts position sizing, portfolio volatility exposure, strategy selection tendencies, and allocation behavior. You can change your profile through settings at any time.

Can I run Warren without connecting an exchange?

Yes. The Demo Environment lets you explore the platform, browse strategies, and understand workflows without connecting an exchange. Paper Trading also runs without real capital.

What runtime preferences can I configure?

You can configure preferred exchanges, preferred trading pairs, amount per trade, maximum open trades, trading mode preferences, and spot or futures preferences. The platform calculates required capital dynamically using your runtime configuration.

How do I revoke Warren's access to my exchange?

Open Settings, navigate to Exchanges, and revoke the API credentials. You can also rotate the API key from your exchange directly. Warren respects revocation immediately.

Where do I see my live performance?

The Warren dashboard shows portfolio metrics, market regime visibility, runtime strategy visibility, active strategy monitoring, performance tracking, and strategy runtime state.
